The truck went into Limp Home mode twice last fall and they couldn't find a problem. It happened 3 times last night on a 15 min drive and 4 times today on way to dealer, a 10 mile drive. They called and told me it would cost $452 for a new electronic throttle control. Then I found on internet this is a known problem and Ford waits until if fails and warranty is over to fix it. It could be life threatening if it happened on the highway with busy traffic as engines goes limp and you have to coast to the side of the road.
