Driving at a 25 mph got an engine warning light and engine shut down - extremely dangerous condition - error message on dash showed wrenches - error message when further investigated showed P2112 AND P2112PE. Engine shut down again - after restarting and driving for approximately 15 minutes at 50 miles per hour. Pulled to side of road restarted NO ERROR codes this time! YIKES. This relates to the Throttle Body. Looked online and found this happens A LOT to FORD trucks, and somehow my F150 2014 is not in the recall. I purchased part from dealer and FORD said they would not refund any money as this VIN number does not have any recalls. Can you explain why this defective Throttle Body in my vehicle has not been recalled? P.S. I have attached a picture of oil that has leaked into the defective Throttle Body causing malfunction.
