problem #2

Jan 072019

F-150 XLT 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 69,000 miles

This is a problem that Ford has known about since the early 2000's. Ford put out several different TSB bulletins pertaining to this with a fix but refuses to help once out of warranty.

F-150 King Ranch 3.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,550 miles

The truck downshifts hard from 5th to 4th when low pressure is being put onto the pedal. It usually occurs all the time now. I went to the local Edinburg, TX FORD dealership this am and the "so called" service advisor. Within the first two minutes of me trying to explain and him trying to make me feel like a complete idiot, I finally drove the heck away. It seems like they are trained nowadays not to SERVICE the CUSTOMER.

The word customer... folks forget that without it is the CUSTOMER who makes paydays possible.

I am glad I am a changed man or I would be blaming the entire service dept. due to one employees actions and saying... "What a bunch of worthless idiots at my Ford dealership."
