F-150 XLT 2.7L V6

Bought the truck new in January. I had a 2021 with the same engine and no issues. This particular rattle seems to be identical to the cam phaser rattle that was prevalent in the 3.6. I called the tech today and he said that the cam phaser issue has been resolved with the new design. The truck is due to go into the dealership on Monday, so I will try to leave an update.

I will add that it does not affect driving, the rattle only occurs on cold starts and only lasts for 1-2 seconds. It’s loud and annoying though! I’m tired of my truck sounding like a clapped out VW diesel.
