F-250 Larriet Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 37,169 miles

Truck brought back to DeLacy Ford twice with engine making noise at about 30 to 40 miles an hour. They said they couldn't do anything because it wasn't making the noise at that time. Third time it made the noise it spun number 2 and number 6 rod bearing. So obviously DeLacy Ford didn't know what to do, so I had it flat bedded to Orleans Ford. They put a new short block in for $8,100.00 and hasn't run proper since.

It is taking oil and running rough. Took it back and they said I put too much oil in it. I am a truck and trailer repair shop owner for 36yrs. They changed the oil, I brought it home and too much oil again. Took it back and they said it was me again and checked, charged me and told me never to come back, they would not service my truck again. So I took it to West Herr Ford with too much oil and they changed the oil to make sure of amount. They said they fixed it and when I got home the same thing, oil was 1 quart over. They told me that if I would have bought my truck they would be able to help me.

SO PROBLEM SOLVED, I BOUGHT A DODGE. IN FACT, TRADED IN MY OTHER TRUCK AND GOT 2 DODGE TRUCKS.

Update from Feb 19, 2015: I just read a car complaint alert the sensor was changed in my truck by Orleans Ford andTHEY CHARGED ME!!!!!! The truck has never been good from the start WITH NO HELP FROM FORD it was in and out of service stations FORD ONLY with a 2 inch folder of repairs witch mostly I paid for !!!! I FIXED THE PROBLEM MYSELF I BOUGHT 2 2015 DODGE CUMMINS PICK UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So if you want the problems to go away buy something other than a ford

I wish they would make this a recall because they didn't say it would become a problem.
