F-250 Lariat 6.7L Diesel

  • Manual transmission
  • 1,300 miles

We purchase new truck 2018 F250 Super Cab Diesel with 101 mile came with full tank of Diesel Fuel from Havre Ford, Havre MT. Drove from MT to WI and it got horrible fuel mileage and began to start hard and run a little rough. At about 1400 miles on truck check engine light came, truck shut off and truck shut down. It then had to be towed to a Ford Dealership who stated we had contaminated fuel/water in fuel take which voids the factory warranty.

We called Ford, no coverage, had it towed to 2nd Ford Dealership, Sugarloaf Ford Winona, MN for 2nd test and they state the same thing contaminated fuel, rusty Fuel injector and need new CP4 Pump. Dealership refuses to stand behind the truck and Ford Refuses to pay any claims.

We paid $411.00 1st dealership to diagnosis it and 2nd dealership estimate is $8,924.02 to start with and no guarantee that will completely fix the problem.

This is beyond crazy to buy a new truck and have these problems and no warranty or assistance with paying for this.
