The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that she would need to take her vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure but no further assistance was taken. The failure mileage was approximately 25,000.

The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-250. While the vehicle was engaged in park, it made an abnormal noise and rolled backwards out of the driveway. The vehicle rolled over a ditch, which caused the vehicle to move forward and crash into a tree. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. During the failure, the contact's husband was standing next to the vehicle with the door open. When the vehicle rolled back, it knocked him over; injuries were sustained.
