F-350 King Ranch 6.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 128,624 miles

Was headed out to the colorado river in Arizona,(Parker strip)was towing a pontoon boat on I-10. I left Indio headed up the hill to the Suroko summit the truck was pulling real good when I went around two tractor and trailers got up along side of one and my power just dropped, and I could not pass these two trucks,It acted like my transmission would not down shift. After the summit it was all down hill. On the way back I was not towing anything and it definitely was a loss of power. Took it to dealer and was advised that hooking up the Computor was $290.00 because a diesel truck, I gave them the go ahead and later that day the called and said it was the EGR valve went bad and the coolers need replaced and I was told the cost of repairs were gonna be around $4500.00 so I gave them the okay ,so 3 days later I was told it was ready for pick up,I asked how much and the service advisor told me it was around $ 4300.00 and change. I went to the cashier and paid the bill and the were called 3 times to bring down my truck, drove it home and no lights and parked it in front of the house. This is when the other problem started
