Vehicle was barely driven until we did the final shake out of our custom built camper, built on the brand new, purchased from the dealership, F350 chassis.
We had to pay above MSRP to get the vehicle due to shortages.
I've had to fight the dealership to store the vehicle ourselves while we wait the 2 months for the parts which are on backorder. They finally agreed.
Fought and lost with Ford dealership because they will pay for a rental but less than the actual rental costs. Ford hotline "concerned agent" will not return calls, and when does call will not leave a message, and will not answer when I call. It's been 9 days of this and I am going with the "nuclear option" now, going public on TikTok with our followers, being loud on other social media, looking for a lawyer and for help with advocay groups.
If nothing else, at least other wills know not to trust Ford with your camper van / custom camper dreams. They don't care. Even warranty work is a battle.
