problem #2

Five Hundred Limited 3.0L V6 Duratec

  • Automatic transmission
  • 160,000 miles

Whenever I moved the shifter the engine would make this loud knocking sound back in 2015, but I figured it was nothing until February 2016. My engine would move forward and backwards when I drive and put the car in park, reverse and drive the whole car would jump. So my mechanic worked out a great deal with me and I had to help but it cut the cost down greatly. Top engine mount rubber like part was badly damaged.

Five Hundred FWD Limited 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

Quality of all brands suck because they are in the beta business of recreating the wheel. The Ford Five Hundred was the perfect culmination of conservative style and comfort for 5 and long distance travel. It should have evolved as a RWD only vehicle with 360-450 horsepower up front.
