problem #3

Apr 122004

Focus

  • Automatic transmission
  • 265,000 miles

This car is the biggest piece of sh*t ever manufactured! I would rather walk! The engineer who designed this should have his eyes gouged out by a hot soldering iron and made to live in one! junk, junk, junk, junk!probably wont give sh*t on scrap price!

problem #2

Aug 112009

Focus ZX5 2.0L Zetec

  • Manual transmission
  • 47,224 miles

Seems to be a common issue on the Focus's. Have replaced both front end links now and the car has just 85,000kms on a 2004.

Rear arms (control, swing, etc.) are another HUGE issue. There are about 6 large and small ones back there and they all go!

problem #1

Focus SE 2L 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,000 miles

In going out of garage slowly the front end goes CLUNK te CLUNK(2mph) over small depression in asphalt driveway. More perceptible on the street. Very load CLUNK tee CLUNKY tee CLUNK CLUNK Tee CLUNKY tee CLUNK.

The secondary roads of Quebec are worst than the back roads of the Adirondacks.

(l should add that a car was recently totaled on going over a pothole of the Mercier bridge-rusty).

the car only had 34000miles when the problem began to occur whereas my 1991 Hyundai has 240000 miles and going strong.

Where do l start? ball joints, shocks springs, tie rod ends. use to repair cars from front to back top to bottom
