Focus ZX3

  • Manual transmission
  • 20,000 miles

I was really upset when my stock CD player/MP3 broke! My daughter's personal CD (sang her name) was stuck in there and won't come out! I was heartbroken because I bought for her when she was a baby and my husband and I were in Vegas. I can't replace it but I did make a copy of it luckily! But the original has the date and place on the label so that is gone for good! We have tried to get it out but it won't come out! I talked to many people that install stereos and they all said the CD player would have to be taken out of the dash and the CD most likely won't be salvagable! I have never fixed it because it is going to cost way too much and I would more then likely have to get a new CD player, I am not willing to do that because at least the radio still works on this one. I bought this car brand new in 2005 and I am so angry that I would have this problem so soon after I bought the car! I probably won't own another Ford again!

Focus ZX4 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 35,000 miles

Basically sometime in 2006 or 2007 the cd player went out. Total pain as I love to listen to music. They didn't cover it under warranty (or wouldn't) so it just hasn't been fixed.

I got my Focus in December and everything worked just fine except for the cd player. The cd player was broken. I drove the car for a few months then took it in to get fixed before the 36,000 warranty was void. I got it fixed then just yesterday the cd player broke again. When i had it fixed the first time they really didnt fix it, they just put a whole new stereo in. Now if i want to listen to cds bad enough im going to have to pay for it!
