The light for the truck lock was always on for a couple of months. Initially, if you opened the truck and closed it again, the warning light would be gone, but the situation got worsened day by day. In the last two weeks, prior to maintenance, it was always on and however hard you endeavored to close the trunk, the lock was not operable and you had to exercise caution and avoid rapid acceleration that would cause the trunk door to open by itself while driving, which eventually took place while I accelerated at a normal pace after the traffic light.

For the safety of passengers and other vehicles, I brought the car to the local Ford dealership to fix it, and they had done a great job in getting it replaced, and the problem never happened again. The serviceman was courteous, and the car resumed normal operation, only to acknowledge a noticeable chunk of my salary has gone away!
