The problem I had with this 2007 Ford Focus is actually many things. I had my taxes and decided to do some maintence on the vehicle so I could drive on a trip out of state. Here is one of my complaints. The power steering resevoir had foaming power steering fluid, which would indicate a problem in the line. I payed to have it flushed. While the mechanics were doing other work on the car and though it was fixed after taking it on a drive test, the power steering started whining again and got a call that they contacted the Ford dealership to just have the whole thing replaced. Gave the go ahead and the car ran great for two days. Now the power steering resevoir is foaming again and the whining noise is back. Now I am being told to replace it yet again after only installing a new one for several months. This is crap!

Car was very hard to steer and only got worse to the point I could barely turn the wheel. Power steering pump had to be replaced.

No real rant here, but I took it in before the warranty was up but they said they couldn't find the leak. Of course not it has started leaking worse than before!

Took the car in for the scheduled 50,000 mile check-up, still complaining of power steering noise and heavy steering, was told that the only thing to do would be to replace the power steering pump for about $300. They weren't sure that would solve the problem.
