Bought this car for my kid- figured shocks were bad but NP - SURPRISE ! They were bad along with ALL the control arms - bushings etc in the rear. Junk car -- Front struts were also bad - axle shaft also had to be replaced - Paid $5k for this car and put almost another $3k into it - I should have known better than to buy a Ford - I have Honda-Mazdas for the past 30 years - shame on me for thinking Ford had gotten better since the 80's - Guess not - AVOID THIS CAR

I had brakes done by my mechanic in July, told him of a loud noise. He took the car out and drove it after doing the brakes and experienced the rattle / wobble. He told me since he use to work for Ford as a mechanic that it was something that was probably under warranty. Which it was I took it to Spring Hill Ford in East Dundee, I had to pay 100.00 deductable and I had to borrow a car since they did not have one to loan me. They had the car from Friday till Tuesday. I was not pleased. And now with some checking it is possible the work that they did might have been under recall. Isn't it wonderful to know they fixed the noise on the passenger side and now I am having the same problem on the driver's side. Why did they not fix both sides at one time?? Another 100.00 dedutable as I see it!!
