Focus SE Sedan 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 29,552 miles

Purchased Vehicle new in June 2008 (am the only owner). The vehicle presently has just shy of 48,000 Kilometres on it. I've noticed now when stopped in traffic with my right foot on the brake that the passenger side seat will just sit there and rattle. If I put my hand on the head rest or the body of the seat it will stop, I let go and it continues to rattle.

NOT HAPPY.

Update from Jan 18, 2016: Turned out to be a result mostly from bad motor mounts. at 30-40 thousand kilometres.

The rubber in them goes bad.

We own a 2008 Ford Focus SE Sedan- 4pd auto - 2.0L 4cyl

I've experienced various cold weather rattles with the dash in the upper left area in front of the steering wheel and driver]s door area when it's cold.

But a new one on me was.... Got in the car the other day & the PASSENGER SIDE SEAT WAS RATTLING IN THE COLD. I had to push my hand against the head rest when I stopped at a red light to make it quit.

Then later on it proceeded to rattle away. It was the seat itself as far as I'm concerned or ...something in the seat was making the plastic on the passenger side of the body plastic running up to the seat belt rattle. But the seat was the root cause making whatever rattled rattle.

This car, everywhere you look inside it, you see how Ford Cut Corners.
