2008 Ford Focus SE 2.0L 4cyl Vapor Silver Automatic

We bought the car new & at the first oil change @ the Ford Dealer they told us they had tested it for a leak and found there was water leaking in the trunk.

We had not yet noticed at that point as it wasn't a rainy time of year.

Thankfully they caught it when they did. Was covered under warranty.

But still makes you wonder how a new car could have that issue.

After leaving the car outside while on holiday for a week, we had monsoonish rain; came home noticed damp in the driver's foot well. We then drove to Wales for three days (very wet), carpets saturated on drivers and rear passengers side. Ford Company agree that it should not have happened but are not prepared to cover the cost directly!
