If you can find a way to add an insulated strip to cover the water line on the inside of the hood, it should protect the hose and fittings from the heat of the engine, thus preventing it from breaking down so soon.

windshield wiper fluid cable inside hood driver side

Just another thing to list that is because it is so cheaply made and it just broke. there is a plastic nozzle that attaches to the fluid of winsheild wiper cleaner fluid and it is under the hood and my driver side is the one that cracked and if its dirty it will not dispense on that side because its cracked off. how don't know but its so annoying that if I need to clean my windsheild on my side that's important I cannot so i gotta go to a station or bought a squigee cuz it was just another thing that went wrong on my vehicle, its been an abomination of triage problems since i bought this car and my ford dealerships don't want to hear it either as i have complained to them multiple times that i think they lost my name and number because last time i called they said they had no history of me being there and that was not true :( sorry Ford you need to own up to the main problem with this car and that is what is being complained about the most !!!!! Suspension, tire damage and safety hazzard that is waiting to hurt someone and hurting our pocketbook !!!
