2011 Ford Focus @ 1281 miles on 3/4/2011- windshield wiper blades not clearing windshield and lift off glass. Wiper blades then broke off of wiper arm due to defective plastic clip attachment. Drivers side blade partially detached while driving at highway speeds in heavy rain and became trapped under passenger blade disabling it. Passenger blade had to be replaced due to cracking of plastic clip 1 week later @ 1587 miles. Both blades were replaced at a Ford dealership with non-defective parts at no cost to owner.
