Focus Sport 4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,000 miles

I called the dealer Koons fallschurch reported trans bucking at slow parking lot speed they did a software update on it an the fix only lasted a week. They used a half a tank of gas for what they call a update.

I learned to press the gas a little more to avoid it jerking around drawing attention to the car.

Focus SE 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 11,497 miles

About 10 miles from home the car began to erratically and then the wrench light came on. When we looked it up it was a throttle or power train failure to call service department immediatly. We turned around and took it home. When i took it to the dealership they could recreate the problem but the light would not come on. They are now rebuilding the transmisison. Unbelievable to have a vehicle with just under 12K miles on it and having a rebuilt transmission.
