A few days prior, my cousin who is a great mechanic replaced the rear brakes for me and the rear wheel bearings. Everything worked out great, and I saved some money on repairs that would not have been covered under warranty.

However, he apparently didn't plug in the left rear wheel sensor all the way, so I had a Hill Start message on starting the car, and a Check ABS light and Anti-Skid light on the dash.

Took it to Ford to fix, and they charged me $89.00 to tell me that the wheel sensor was bad and that would need to order parts at additional charge.

I took it back to my cousin (which I should have done first), and he checked the wheel sensor. It was plugged in, but when he pushed on it, it gave slightly and clicked into place thus resolving the problem. Why Ford charged me $89 and didn't even bother to check to see if the thing was seated in the socket properly is beyond me.

This is a brand new car, with a bad ABS Module? I don't get it.
