The open handle from in car on driver's side door broke inside door panel. Unable to get out from inside car. If an accident were to occur I would be unable to escape from vehicle. There are several complaints on multiple year Ford Fusion from 2006 to 2010 online there are you tube videos on it. There should be a recall this can be a safety hazard with grave circumstances.

The door opening mechinisim has broken multiple times (3 to date) in which the driver side door cannot be opened from the inside. This is a huge safety concern as if an accident did incur the driver would not be able to open the door. This car is 7 years old with 125K miles and it has broken 3 times. This needs to be recalled and a proper fix provided as it is due to faulty design and is a safety risk.

Driver's side interior door handle broke. This is a safety issue. If I were needing to exit the vehicle in a hurry, I could not. If I were not able to roll down the power window, I would not be able to open the door from the inside.

2007 Ford Fusion SE - safety issue!! interior door latch problem (driver' door) I cannot get out of my Ford Fusion without rolling down the window and opening the door from the outside. **this is a safety concern!!** I have read several online Ford Fusion forums and found there are many many other people who are experiencing the exact same problem with their Ford Fusion. You please issue a 'recall' on the interior door latches of the 2007 Ford Fusion SE*** this is indeed a safety concern, especially if someone must get out of the car quickly. Thank you.
