The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic. The contact was notified of a misfire in cylinder #3. The contact was informed that the ignition coils and spark plugs needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 105,000.
