I purchased a Ford Fusion from LASCO FORD, Fenton, MI. It was sold as a Ford CPO vehicle meaning that it has passed certain standards, however, my vehicle has several defects. The Ford CPO documents that the defects have been "repaired or replaced". One of those standards is normal, matching tread depth. Another one says "normal wear and tear". However, when I took my car is for maintenance, they told me that my rear tires were "bald" and have been trying to sell me 2 new rear tires. There is a 5/32 tread difference between front and rear tires. That should not be! Prior to me purchasing the vehicle it was in a rear-end accident. Personally, I believe the rear tires were replaced because of that accident. The tires are Michelin tires and should not be bald at 32,000 miles! Ford customer service told me to get "warranty work done at another dealership". However, this work is considered warranty work; it is the Ford CPO GUARANTEE. I deserve what I was GUARANTEED I was buying.
