Takata recall my Ford dealership is not taking care of the recall on my call. They have been waiting for 3 weeks for the part, but said today that it's back ordered and they have no idea how long it will take. Is there something I can do about this.

Takata recall - when I enter my VIN into your system, 0 recalls are shown. This is not correct. I have a letter from Ford for ***urgent airbag safety recall*** - safety recall notice 19S01/NHTSA recall 19V-001. I check your site often, and found it unfortunate and disturbing to still see 0 recalls even though my car does have a recall for the passenger airbag. I have also reported a very common power steering failure in this same car. You continue to have an open investigation since November 2017, which also suprised me to see an investigation left open for so long. This is the second investigation for the same issue on this car... if there is finally a recall for the power steering, like there is been for the same steering rack part on other model years, will it show up on your website, or will it also be hidden from your recall notices like my airbag recall notice" why isn't my airbag recall listed on your website recalls when I enter my VIN"

I received a "urgent airbag safety recall" notice urging me to immediately get my defective airbag replaced for free at the nearest Ford dealer. I have contacted three dealers in my area and they all said that they do not have the parts to replace and have no idea when they will get the parts. Ford remains irresponsible in their handling of this defective and dangerous situation.

This recall goes back to 2016 at least. Ford has sent letters in 2016, 2017 and 2018 warning about this recall and they will notify me when parts are available. How long can Ford postpone a safety recall? appears Ford is waiting for this issue to expire or the car to be scrapped.

Takata recall - I was notified months ago that my passenger airbags are not safe. Last month I finally received a letter from Ford saying that airbags were available to fix my car. I called my Ford dealer. They said they could not order the air bags and I should try calling back in a couple weeks. I just called my dealer again after waiting two weeks. They continue to say that Ford will not allow them to order the airbags for the recall. It is unacceptable that Ford made me wait months for airbags to fix my unsafe car. It's downright unethical to send me a letter saying that airbags are now available for my car when they clearly aren't.

Takata recall it's been more than two yrs since we were notified that our vehicle is part of the takata airbag recall. We received four letters since reminding us that we are still waiting for replacement parts. Recently, Ford sent a letter stating "a repair is available for your vehicle". I contact our local dealer and was told they had to order the parts and we would be contacted within a few days to schedule an appointment to bring the car in for repair. One month later, I contact the dealer to find out what's taking so long. Now the dealer tells it will take a few months to get the parts and that I am on a waiting list to have the car repaired. So I contact another dealer to see if I can get the care repaired sooner. This Ford dealer tells me they cannot order the parts at all. And continues to say that Ford sent out letters to customers stating repairs were available to appease the consumer. The representative advises to get a rental or not sit anyone in the passenger seat. Unbelievable! can we get a reasonable timeline on how long this is going to take? just be honest instead of stringing us along!

Takara recall, still not repaired, was told not to drive it. Wife wanted a safe vehicle, but could not trade the Ford Fusion 2010, because of recall. Did not get letter from Ford about them providing a vehicle until repairs to air bag could be completed. Ask for reimbursement for the amount of what they were going to pay any rental fees. They refused. Car is sitting and want relief under the lemon law.
