I have taken my car for service and am looking forward to another good year of motoring. The car comes back and is left in the parking. The next day I start the car and its really rattling badly from the engine. I call the mechanics and as usual they deny any wrong doing. They come and do some "repair" and then test the car and say its ok. I try the car and I can feel something is wrong. The engine lights come on indicating engine fault. I then change one spark plug and the car runs fine but the engine lights is again on. I decide to change all spark plugs and the engine lights goes off. The car is running well but I could feel there is a problem as is runs very rough. Then one day the engine lights come back and this time its the battery .I am very sure the battery is not the issue. Then reading on line I read about the alternator connector corrosion and sure as hell when I check my alternator, the wires are corroded and snapped off. I ordered a new Alternator connector and replaced the old one. Its fiddly on Ford KA but after that the car run like new. FORD what is the issue with your wiring?!!!
