problem #2

Mustang Convertible 3.9L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 80,200 miles

I bought the car 3 days prior to this happening and I had it fixed under dealer warranty but within those 3 days I figured out you can move the shifter into N with the key one turn before the On position and you can then start the car in neutral.

Mustang

  • Automatic transmission
  • 125,000 miles

Haven't had it repaired yet but must "bang" the button to disengage from park to put vechicle in gear to drive. Does not appear to be a transmission problems but a hardware problem. Needs some type of lubrication. My husband has be to leave the vehicle in neutral and pull the hand brake so that I can drive it when needed. Otherwise, it stays "STUCK IN PARK" !!!
