The trunk release on the remote does not lift the trunk enough so that I often have to press it again and immediately grab and lift up the trunk gate. If not, it will automatically relatch itself. I suppose this is a safety feature, but it takes two hands to catch and lift the gate and if I am holding a child or anything, I have to put it down first.
