The contact owns a 2007 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle felt like it was losing power and was not switching gears. The contact turned the vehicle off and once restarted, it was still difficult to shift gears and would not accelerate over 40 mph. The problem recurred 100 times. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The diagnosis was that the clutch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 15,000.
