very scary situation on highway burnt all 4 rotors off brakes trying to get car stopped! just kept accelerating (90mph Plus ) with both feet on Brakes plus emergency brake pulled all the way up! finally got to side of road turned off ignition and let reset ! then restarted engine and drove back to Ford Dealership in town! did a diagnostic $100.00 could not find much (no codes)? cleaned throttle body and going to replace all 4 brake rotors next Monday at a cost of about $475.00! this is second time this has happened on highway ! I think Ford needs a recall on this problem ASAP! before someone either gets hurt or killed or hurts or kills someone else! have put up with the airbag recall (waited over a year to get passenger side airbag module replaced! after drivers side module was replaced!
Love my mustang but when time comes very seriously thinking Chevy Camaro! Hate to do that for sure but getting leery about driving any distance in my Pony anymore! Very unsafe!
