Mustang 4.0L

I have replaced the thermostat housing 4 times, and will replace it again for the 5th time this week. Not sure why in the world Ford would use a plastic molded part for such an important job. They have to know these parts are failing and will continue to fail. I paid $35,000 for a car with a plastic part that fails which could lead to a very expensive engine repair. Come on Ford - make this right !

Mustang V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 70,000 miles

In 1 yr we had replaced it 2x already. A few weeks after the warranty was up, it went again. Now we have to replace it again. I love sports cars but would never get another Mustang. Pretty car but lots of issues. Had got the extended warranty but guess what, wasn't covered, you guessed it. The housing unit dropped that warranty. Not only that, but the inside door cover keeps falling off. My airbag light stays on. Wires hanging underneath the dash for no reason, paint bubbling and the list goes on...
