The contact owns a 2014 Mustang. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the transmission ceased in 2nd gear and failed to shift to a lower or higher gear. The contact pulled over and called to have the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmission clutch needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 11,577.
