the tach jumps very high when going thu the automatic gears
they fixed the car sporadic downshifting to 1st gear saying it was a loose wire in the steering column related to the paddle shifter. Now the tach jumps up (to 5K+) when the car accelerates thru the automatic gears.

This car was bought brand new in 2016 and has less than 5300 miles. When this happened, we were at a stop sign and when I got ready to go the car wouldn't. Gave it gas and still wouldn't go. It doesn't seem to change gears either. Very scary if this happens when you are on the interstate going at a high rate of speed. You can definitely get killed.
