I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. When told that all of my tires cannot be removed because the lug nuts have fused due to the metals now being used sounds like a set up by Ford to create service business. Ford is aware that they have used an inferior product on their lug nut design. The service tech had a sample of a fused lug nut on the counter to show me because it happens so frequently. I do not see why this wouldn't be a safety recall - people can't change their own tires on the side of the road - or at least a consumer recall. I think Ford should cover this repair cost.
