Windshield wipers working intermittently and dome lights would stay on. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that vehicle out of warranty, and not cover under manufacturer's recall. The generic electronic module that controls the wiper and dome light plus warning sounds had been a subject of recalls in other type of vehicles.

Multi-function switch that controls windshield wipers and washe rfluid malfunctioned, preventing windshield motor from squirting fluid to clear windshield of debris/dirt, impairing visibility.
