Tamara recall: I contacted jim falk's valley isle Ford dealership as well as Ford consumer hotline for resolutions to get my airbags replaced. I purchased the vehicle in 2005, and live on a different island to where the dealership is located. They want me to ship my only vehicle to them to fix the airbags, which could take a short amount of time leaving me car-less for roughly 2 to 3 weeks, at my expense. They will not fix or replace the airbags for me which will cost me roughly $500 - $1500 for shipping and or rental car costs, and I'll never buy another car from them again. They won't even ship a repair person over to replace it. What am I to do?

Takata recall - my son drives this vehicle and we just bought it. It is very scary to think that the air bag installed to save his life could take it. We don't have an extra car for him to drive.
