Dealer says that FORD does not equip the drivers side inner fender well with a splash guard.

Splash guard is a rubber membrane used to keep road splash/salt spray out of the engine compartment. Expected result without the membrane is degradation of metal parts under the hood, especially the aluminum A/C condenser.
