well the ford dealer said the reason the air bags didn not deploy was because my husbands passenger was not heavy enough ?????? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME his passenger weighed ruffly 180 pounds they were going about 40 mpg hit a concrete gutter , went air born, jumped the 5 ft ditch and hit the other side of the ditch head on and according to your dealership the frame of the Ranger looked like a accordion. That alone would lead me to believe the air bag should of deployed and no he wasn't Drunk . He was on his was to work with a carpooler and some guy blew a red light a he was heading head-on for my husband , my husband missed him and he split and my husband broke his back in 2 spots and has 2 compressed disks and had to have surgery. But after the 16000.00 repair on the truck the airbag sensor lights come on now even when someone is in the seat.
