The contact stated that the parking brake was not functioning as designed. The contact looked underneath the vehicle and became aware that the parking brake cable was detached from the service brake system in the rear of the vehicle. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V202000 (Parking Brake) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed of the failure.
