Ranger Wildtrak 2.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 63,380 miles

Hello, I have Wildtrak aka Ranger 2.2 6 auto. I live in Indonesia. first, powertrain show up and still no clue. continue driving but suddenly auto trans downshift by itself. it is shocking me and thanks that no one behind me. it is very very dangerous if someone drive behind me because my rpm jump up and my speed drop. They can hit me. it's like downshift from 4th gear to 1st gear. still continue drive and turn on hazard lamps to go to local mechanic shop and around 40 km/h it happen around 5 times. Very very bad if someone drive behind me and suddenly hit my truck.

At mechanic shop, scanned with scanner and found DTC P0774, P0770, P0707, P0850, U0402, P0962.

Open atf oil pan and take out body valve. change all solenoids (7) with new one. put it back body valve with new solenoids, fill atf oil until full, test drive now but always pray and hope the problems (suddenly downshift) does not occur again.
