Taurus SHO

  • 90,000 miles

The engine would quit intermittently. It might run flawlessly for 10 minutes, or 10 days. Then I would be driving down the road and it would just quit. It would restart instantly after sitting for a few minutes and then it might be minutes, or days before it happened again.

Dealers and Service Shops were clueless. Found information on a web site about the Crankshaft Position Sensor: Had it replaced and Viola!!! No more problems.
