Taurus SES 2.4L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 111,000 miles

It is such an inconvenient that all doors are shut and door ajar dashboard light is on, needing to slam doors continuously to get it to shut off.... Some points the dome lights won't work when doors are open, yet turn on when closed doors or driving down road.

Taurus V6

  • Automatic transmission

for quite a long time now the door ajar light has been on. This means the doors won't lock. And sometimes when i park the interior light will not shut off unless i drive it around the block again or let it go and sometimes it will stay on 20-30 minutes. This is very annoying!!

When I have closed my door to my car, many times the car has an indicator light come on that says that a car door is ajar. This means that they car will NEVER lock. If you use the automatic locks, they will reverse the lock to the door.

Ford is definitely a 4 letter word in my house. I will never own another one of these poorly put together automobiles again. I would be tempted to buy a foreign automobile before I bought another Ford. You know why Ford's first car was called a model-T? Because they so severely screwed up Models A-S!
