The contact owns a 2010 Ford Taurus. While driving 10 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and the pedal traveled to the floorboard. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the brake pedal had a fractured spring and needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that grogan's towne Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (16100 telegraph rd, toledo, oh 43612, (419) 476-076) was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 69,712.

The contact owns a 2010 Ford Taurus. On several occasions, while the brake pedal was depressed, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard. As a result, the contact's foot came in contact with the accelerator pedal. The accelerator pedal became depressed while the brakes were also being applied. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the failure was caused by a manufacturing design fault and not a defect. The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was also taken to millinax Ford new smyrna beach (2317 fl-44, new smyrna beach, fl 32168, (386) 428-9094), but was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified.
