The contact owns a 2011 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that the rear interior passenger door handle was loose. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the front interior door latch was also defective. The dealer could not release the contact's vehicle to him due to safety guidelines. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 15V040000 (structure) exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer stated that the part was not available for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the delay. The failure mileage was 89,000.
