I just bought my 2011 Ford Taurus at the begining of May 2018. I started to notice that the trunk was leaking when we had heavy rainfall. When I popped my trunk and looked under the spare tire, there was a small puddle of water. It soaked the cover of the spare tire. I am looking for the best soluion to this probelm. I was told by the dealership that there wasn't any probelms with my car beside a sway bar bushing that needed to be replaced.

I opened the trunk on Friday November 22, 2014 and noticed the cover of the spare tire to a little wet. So, I removed everything from the trunk. During this time I could tell something was wrong. I lifted the cover off the spare tire compartment and was shocked. The water had filled the whole area, except for the last inch. I went to my local garage and they pulled the drain plug. They kept the car for 2 days to dry it out. I will be searching out the source of the leak myself. So, I'm wondering if I'm the only one with the big leak.
