The contact owns a 2015 Ford Taurus. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle hit a pothole and started shaking while driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who repaired the wheel bearing; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the rear end of the vehicle was shaking significantly, almost causing her to lose control of the vehicle. The contact stated that she could only drive at slower speeds in order to not lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was test driven. The dealer diagnosed that the rear toe links were severely damaged and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that they could not assist as the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V072000 (Suspension).
