I have my car in the Ford Service Dept for the 4th time for the same clunking and clicking when I turn. So, as they told me when I first heard it not even a year after I bought it that is was a CV Joint So they seemed to of fixed it, stopped making the noise. Well December 2018 now it was on the left side, right around holiday's so I could not get in til January. At that time it was the left front side making the noise, so they said they fixed it. Not a month later the sound started again, so they said they fixed the CV Joint. Said it was fixed, it was already making the same noise on the left side before the next day. I was furious! So after skipping all the service dept, managers, etc I went straight to the General Manager of my store. Got a call last week to bring my car back in, at this time the right side was making the noise too and on the highway there was some vibration. My car has less than 13,000 on it right now, even less on prior times. My car was put in the shop on a Tuesday, today is Friday, HAVE NOT heard one word! I had to call the Service Mgr and he said there are parts on order? Well are they fixing the problem or found a new one, what? He mentioned something about bushing and seals? So there you have it.
