Never had to replace a catalytic converter before 100,000 miles. This make 3 of the same model it has happened to.

This was the second time this has been replaced. The first time was at 68,000 miles and the second now at 89,000 miles. Ford engineering could not shed any light on why this keeps happening and would not cover under warranty when the other set was replaced 8 months ago.
