Windstar V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 60,000 miles

At least once, we were able to mechanically agitate the window, i. e. bang the hell out of it, and it worked for about two weeks. Now it won't come open or closed at all. I think it is getting electrical power. The other side works, but I think it uses a different motor. Researching what fuse I would have to check, but afraid next option would be to figure out how to take the door panel off to look at the existing motor for that side. Would appreciate advise from anyone having same problem.
