problem #2

May 012007

Windstar Limited V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 115,000 miles

Low tire inflation light comes on periodically since it began in 2007. Too many times to list separately. Usually when traveling out of town and at higher speeds. Pull over check tires, nothing wrong. Always check, just in case. Reset. Happens a few more times then doesn't do it again for a month or two.

Windstar LX 3.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 123,000 miles

Tire inflation light came on one day and then went out on its own. Checked tire pressures (4 brand new tires, all within 1 psi of each other). Light would come back on, I'd check the tires, and then reset the light. Now the light comes on and stays on, and after a reset, comes back on even when you're sitting parked.
